Nisqually Kennel Club Members worked hard and long to gain AKC recognition. They put together Fun matches,Tattoo clinics and each year for several years held Dog Fiesta's at Both Olympia Area Malls.

During the 1980's Nisqually Kennel Club members all gathered together with their different breeds to Create a
Fiesta of Purebred dogs for the public to learn about and see. In some years there were as many as 30 different breeds,
some years as few as 15, but always the public enjoyed these shows of Conformation and Obedience put on by members
of Nisqually KC
