Nisqually Kennel Club ( NKC) was  formed in 1976 by a dedicated group of purebred dog fanciers.

The club has grown to over 40 purebred dog fanciers, including AKC judges, breeders and just plain enthusiasts. We have  representatives from many regional and National clubs among our membership.

Our Members are  involved in obedience, conformation, Tracking and Agility and many other aspects of dog related activities.

NKC held its first licensed Breed Dog Show and Obedience Trial in August  of 1987 at Olympia High School.

This event has grown over the years to where we now have over 2000 dogs entered on each of  two   back to back shows held at St. Martins  College Grounds  in Lacey.

A Open membership club, we encourage those dog fanciers who  are involved in any aspect of the sport of Purebred dogs   to visit our club and  get to know us.
